How XRaffle Works

Welcome to XRaffle, the premier NFT raffle platform on the XRP Ledger. Our goal is to provide a fair, transparent, and exciting way for users to win exclusive NFTs. Here’s a step-by-step guide to how our platform operates.

For Participants

1. Connect Your Wallet:

   The first step is to connect your XUMM wallet. This allows you to securely interact with our platform to purchase tickets and receive prizes without ever exposing your private keys.

2. Browse Raffles:

   On our homepage, you can see all the active and upcoming raffles. Each card shows the NFT prize, ticket price, and progress.

3. Purchase Tickets:

   Found a raffle you like? You have two ways to buy a ticket:

   • Pay with XRP: Click the "Buy with XRP" button to generate a payment request, which you can sign with your XUMM wallet.
   • Pay with XRaffle Tokens: If you have enough XRaffle Tokens from previous refunds, a "Buy with Tokens" button will appear for an instant, gas-free purchase.
4. Check Your Dashboard:

   Your personal dashboard is your hub for all activity. You can see all the tickets you've purchased and the raffles you've created.

5. Winning a Raffle:

   If you win, the NFT prize will appear in the "Prizes to Claim" section of your dashboard. You can then initiate the claim process.

For Creators

1. Create a Raffle:

   As an NFT owner, you can create your own raffle. The process involves filling out details like the title, ticket price, and raffle duration.

2. Set a Reserve (Optional):

   To protect yourself from a loss, you can set a "Reserve Percentage". This is the minimum percentage of tickets that must be sold for the raffle to proceed. If the reserve is not met by the end time, the raffle is automatically cancelled.

3. Lock the NFT:

   To guarantee the prize for participants, you must lock your NFT by creating a 0-XRP sell offer to the platform's wallet. The NFT remains in your wallet but cannot be transferred elsewhere until the raffle concludes.

4. Collect Your Earnings:

   If your raffle is successful, your earnings (total ticket sales minus a platform fee) will appear in the "Earnings to Collect" section of your dashboard.

The Refund System

We believe in fairness. If a raffle you entered is cancelled because it did not meet its reserve percentage, you are entitled to a refund.

• The system automatically creates a pending refund for your ticket.
• On your dashboard, a "Get Refund" button will appear next to the cancelled ticket.
• Clicking this button instantly credits your account with XRaffle Tokens, equivalent to the original ticket price. You can then use these tokens for future ticket purchases.
